Thornton Family
Married in 1993, Ian and Juli have made a life focused on ministry. Whether it was establishing ministries or working in the marketplace, the focus has been to help others be and do what God desired. Ian has a MDiv from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and Juli holds a M Ed. In Elementary Education from Liberty University. In 2000, they started a benevolence ministry in North Carolina then transitioned to Lynchburg, VA where Ian took a full-time marketplace position as Chaplain and Director of Operations in 2006. In 2017, after the passing of Ian’s father, their family moved to Ohio where they currently reside, home-schooling their seven children.
Hain Family
Married in 2009, Frank and Jessica are committed to serving the Lord as He leads; making disciples from Lynchburg to the ends of the earth. Their desire is to live missionally, love fully, and surrender daily to God through the power of the Holy Spirit. Their passion is to boldly and purposefully build deep relationships—living out God’s two greatest commandments—and helping others do the same. Frank holds a JD, a MBA, a MAR, a MDiv. and a Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Counseling. Jessica holds a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership; playing and coaching soccer both collegiately and internationally for 2 decades. Frank and Jessica are licensed CoreClarity facilitators, and have been involved in various prayer and intercession ministries since 2006. They use whole-person health and wellness as both a means to disciple followers of Jesus as well as an invitation for anyone to know and walk with Jesus. They reside in Lynchburg, VA and home-school their three precious children.
